At The Overlook at KC Bison Ranch, located between Dahlonega and Cleveland in the North Georgia mountains, the classic car send-off turns that final moment into something that lives up to everything that came before it.

Alongside the send-off, the Choice package includes fresh floral arrangements in place of silk, upgraded catering with real china and deluxe menu options, eight hours of photography coverage, and a DJ and emcee, plus your choice of a photo booth or uplighting.
Our Elite package offers a different tier of send-off options entirely, including a helicopter grand exit, a fireworks display, or a vintage car send-off, for couples who want to close their evening with something even more spectacular.
Every package across all three tiers covers coordination, catering, photography, floral package, DJ, bartending, and setup and teardown services, which means the logistics of coordinating the car's arrival, timing the guest lineup, and positioning photographers for the shot all fall on our team rather than the couple.

Our planners, Kadie Hudgins, Kirstin Harper, and Rebecca Jackson, manage the day-of execution, coordinating with the catering team, the DJ, and the photography team to ensure every element of the send-off lands the way the couple envisioned it.

After the couple makes their exit, guests who are staying on the property naturally drift toward the lodge firepits and the outdoor gathering areas, carrying the energy of the reception into a quieter and more intimate setting.
Our lodges accommodate up to 41 overnight guests across five buildings, each with wood-burning fireplaces, premium hot tubs, and panoramic views of the bison pastures and vineyards. The couple, if they are staying on the property, often rejoins their closest family and friends within the hour. Kim Chapman, a Georgia native and UGA graduate, is a first-generation rancher. To embrace this new way of life, Kim sold a successful business and left life on Lake Lanier to move to the mountains and embark on this new venture. He has a son, Kyle, and a daughter, Kaci, both in their mid-twenties. As a child, one of Kim’s favorite hobbies was collecting buffalo nickels, and he has always been a lover of big animals. This is evidenced by his canine companions, a Great Pyrenees named Prince, and a Leonberger named Samson. He is excited to offer his God-given resources to others and watch them multiply.
