Our 61-acre property sits in the Blue Ridge Mountains between Dahlonega and Cleveland, and it gives you more than one kind of view. There are vineyard rows, tranquil ponds, rolling mountain pastures, and long mountain vistas, all within walking distance of one another. Then there are the bison. As the only bison ranch wedding venue in the region, we offer something no other North Georgia venue can: photos with these massive, graceful animals moving across the pasture behind you.
Couples tell us the setting is hard to capture in photos, and there's truth to that. The scale of the mountains and the presence of the herd give the property an atmosphere you feel in person. What that means for you practically is a ceremony space that needs very little added decoration. The land carries the day.
Because the property offers so many distinct settings, your photographer can create dozens of different looks without ever leaving the grounds. Vineyard rows give clean leading lines at golden hour. The ponds offer mirror reflections and sunset silhouettes. The mountain overlooks frame wide, dramatic portraits. And the bison pastures deliver the shots nobody else will have.
We designed the outdoor ceremony area to sit right in front of those mountain and vineyard views, so your ceremony backdrop and your portrait locations are the same. If weather turns, our indoor ceremony option keeps the day on schedule without losing the beauty of the setting.
The land is grounded and natural, but the spaces are elegant, and couples tell us that combination is exactly what drew them in. Our reception hall runs 5,400 square feet with 30-foot vaulted ceilings, polished concrete floors, and large sliding doors that open onto covered patios. It holds up to 280 guests in a rectangular layout or 200 with round tables. Ambient string lighting, estate tables, and our signature bourbon barrel standing tables, which guests use to set their drinks, give the room a warm character. Two custom bars keep drinks flowing through cocktail hour and the reception.
Before the ceremony, your party has room to breathe. The bridal suite offers 1,000 square feet with floating salon stations and abundant natural light, and the groom's lounge gives a relaxed, private space to get ready. Everyone starts the day comfortable.
A remarkable setting still needs people who can run a flawless day, and this is where couples tell us we go above and beyond. Because our packages are all-inclusive, one team handles coordination, catering, photography, floral package, DJ, bartending, and setup and teardown. You work with people who know this property, not a rotating cast of outside vendors.
Ashley Maryanski, our Event and Vendor Coordinator, guides couples through vendor selection and keeps everyone communicating in the lead-up to the day. Our planners, including Kadie Hudgins with her seven years of experience, handle day-of execution so the timeline runs quietly while you stay present. Our on-site lodging lets your closest guests wake up right here, steps from the pastures, with coffee on the deck before the morning begins. Kim Chapman, a Georgia native and UGA graduate, is a first-generation rancher. To embrace this new way of life, Kim sold a successful business and left life on Lake Lanier to move to the mountains and embark on this new venture. He has a son, Kyle, and a daughter, Kaci, both in their mid-twenties. As a child, one of Kim’s favorite hobbies was collecting buffalo nickels, and he has always been a lover of big animals. This is evidenced by his canine companions, a Great Pyrenees named Prince, and a Leonberger named Samson. He is excited to offer his God-given resources to others and watch them multiply.
